King Home is Hiring a Youth Care Worker (Assistant Family Teacher) Near Chelsea, AL

King's Home, a Christ centered ministry, has immediate opening for a youth care worker. This is a Monday- Friday full time position. Schedule would be 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm during the week and every other weekend. (Saturday and Sunday approximately 12 hour shifts) Could include overnights and holidays. This position consists of direct care for our youth which includes: transporting them to appointments or activities, administering medications, teaching basic living skills, and maintaining household records and reports.

Applicants must have clear driving record (no speeding tickets 15 miles or more over the speed limit), current driver license, clear criminal background, high school diploma/GED required and must be 21 or older. Position is full time and eligible for full time benefits.

For over 40 years King’s Home has been home to hundreds of youth, women, and children seeking refuge, hope, and help from abuse, neglect, abandonment, homelessness, and other difficult and impoverished conditions and circumstances. Our Purpose: To serve Christ by serving youth, women, and mothers with children who are at-risk.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
